
Joining the Alloway Township Halloween Parade Committee is
easy and mostly painless!
Between January and September, meetings are held at
7pm on the second Monday of the month.
In October, meetings are at 7pm every
Monday in preparation for parade night.
The current committee is small and is
interested in adding more talented, hardworking people
to our current roster
of volunteers.
Please feel free to join in on a meeting to see what we're
all about.
Can't make all the meetings? That is okay. We have a number of
committee members who
cannot attend the meetings due to work or other
concerns, but they still assist with our fundraisers
and they help out on
the day of the parade. We keep them informed about upcoming
fundraisers
through emails and telephone calls.

On parade day,
the parade committee is assisted by spouses and annual volunteers who come out
to assist
on parade day. We work together to assemble the judges' stand and
queens' wagon, set up our registration tent,
stake out the parade lineup and
more. Most of us have years of experience now, but the more help
we
have, the easier our set up can be. Even if attending meetings
throughout the year is not possible, please consider joining the committee
to help out with fundraisers and parade day.
