Floats built by local families, organizations, churches and businesses are welcome to enter the parade.
Floats can be entered into the following categories:
Comic
Fancy
Religious
Original
Youth Organization
Dance Group/Float

The parade coordinator may change your category as necessary, unless you state on the registration form
that you would prefer to not have your category changed.

There are two emcee stationed along the parade route with one at the fire hall and the other at the
judges' stand on Friesburg Road. As each float passes the emcees, the emcee will briefly describe
the float. Descriptions are derived from the background information that you provide on your
registration form. Please keep your descriptions brief because the emcees only have a short amount
of time to announce your float before it passes by their stands.

Please do not forget to include the length of your trailer and the vehicle pulling it. This information
is vital to the committee members who mark out the line up on parade night. The entry length that you state
on your registration form is the amount of space that your entry will be given.

It is important to state whether or not your entry will have music so that the committee can try to line
up your entry so that it is not directly adjacent to other music entries.

Please remember that shotguns, firecrackers, cherry bombs, etc. are PROHIBITED!
